As a woman with “Sun in Virgo” (astrologically speaking), I’ve always been called to service work. Coupling that with tons of Libra (mental) and Sagittarius (intuitive) energy in my natal astrological chart, the Tarot was a natural fit. So when I got that soft whisper from Creator on the final day of my “Changing Course” retreat, I knew I had found my calling (at least one of them!) In working with the Tarot, I help people find their best selves, and believe people can transform their lives through a journey of personal reflection and discovery. There are always uncomfortable parts to personal transformation and I can help create some ease as you move through the uncomfortable parts. On the other side is a life filled with more beauty and richness – a deep connection to All.

Ashley’s journey began in her early 20s. After earning a business degree, from the Richard Ivey School of Business in London, Ontario, she leaped into a two-year personal development program at the Gestalt Institute of Toronto. Another few years of life experience led her to study again, this time emerging with a Registered Massage Therapy (RMT) license. She has studied mind consciousness intensively with mentors in Ecuador while she lived in and learned from the local organic farming community.
Her business degree and RMT license were a solid foundation on which she built a successful practice. Still, she intuitively felt there was something more and different in store for her and, indeed, there was. So after closing her practice in Ontario, she spent two years in concentrated self study, experimentation and travel, landing on the Canadian west coast where she discovered her calling in the metaphysical realm.

What led Ashley here was simple serendipity. Years ago, while at a Changing Course retreat in rural Massachusetts, the facilitator suggested she study the Tarot. It was a casual, passing comment as she was walking out the door. In that moment, something inside was ignited. She has studied the Tarot with Julia Wawrzyniak-Beyer, James Wells, and Oriane Lee Johnston. With a diverse background and rich experience, Ashley has evolved into a practical, intuitive and dynamic mind and energy worker – integrating massage, consciousness, gestalt and other valuable techniques into her tarot practice.
There’s been a lot of other learning among all of that and, today, while she can be found homeschooling her children, farming, and communing with her horse, her passion for the Tarot continues. She continues diving deep into the exploration of body and mind, surrounded by the beautiful, natural environment in the West Kootenays, British Columbia.
